About me
Hello, my name is Cara Liu. I am a User Researcher, Designer and Product Strategist skilled at high-level process design, synthesizing user data, and bringing cross-functional teams together to create something great. I run a web design agency, Gimme Lemons, a beauty startup, Monolids Collective, and also do some UX coaching on the side.
I get really excited about how understanding the user can impact not only the bottom line, but also how it can elevate the organization from the inside out.
In my next role, I want to work closely with both the design and business teams so I can be more involved in creating design processes that translate into higher ROI.
I started Gimme Lemons, a full-service design agency, because I like solving problems. Like the saying goes, "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade." To that I say, "Give me all the lemons!" I believe problems are just opportunities in disguise.
I spent the first half of my childhood in Taiwan; because of my background, I enjoy working within ambiguity and thrive in providing a context in different situations. It’s no surprise that UX and web design became my catnip!
In my spare time, you can find me creating funny videos, practicing yoga, traveling, and listening to podcasts.
